Fiber Vase

This is what happens when an artist ends up with too much fiber and time on her hands. If you have ever seen coiled ceramics and basketry, this piece was created along those lines. Then the gold, chain stitch embroidery (barely visible, sorry), and beads were added. The chains of turquoise beads culminate in a beautiful art glass bead. The upper lip is button hole stitched.
