Unseamly

This is a colored pencil drawing on Fabrianno. When you zoom in on the image, you will see some very interesting marks. This is the first in a series about lava. The only hint of the volcanoe's solid structure is in a fine line of black almost in the center. The moss green color of the paper not only compliments the colors in the pencil work, but it also allows the viewer to determine what time of day or night, what season, etc., the lava is flowing in. This is a very meditative aspect to indulging in time seeing the piece. The pencil rendering will also continue to reveal hidden secrets, and offer hours of satisfaction of seeing.

The piece is 27.5" square, signed, dated, and titled. It is available for $750, unframed, plus shipping and handling. Contact RobbinNeff@hotmail.com if you are interested. Your comments and posts are of interest to me, but I haven't figured out how to attach them to their point of initiation post. Still, contact me at the above email.

Wait until you see what is next.
