In Delaware, our first state, in its first city, this is the roof and cupola of the first building. Today it serves as a fire house. This is the first official government building in the USA, from what I remember. It actual served as a meeting spot for the first sitting of the Continental Congress. It is part of a series of roof pieces. So many roofs have such distintive characteristics.
This is an untitled piece, 16x20, graphite on Stonehenge paper. To put this piece in your hands ($150 + S&H), contact the artist at RobbinNeff@hotmail.com.
